Latest Accident Raises New Questions on Old Country Road

The on Old Country Road in front of has raised new discussions about whether something should be done in the vicinity of Route 135.

One Patch reader suggested that a much-earlier study (before Patch's time) had indicated the road was too narrow to handle much more traffic.

Another suggestion involved widening the roadway at the entrance and exits to the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway.

With state and local governments claiming money is tight, another study might not come anytime soon.
