Local DECA Chapter Inducts 181 New Members
Record Number Plainview High Schoolers Join International Association of Marketing Students

One hundred and eighty one members of the Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School were recently inducted into the school’s DECA chapter in the presence of school administrators, DECA Alumni, faculty advisors and community members. During its annual initiation ceremony, veteran members of DECA addressed the crowd, including Chapter President Dylan Karul and DECA alumni member Mr. Josh Seiden. Other members informed the audience of upcoming events and the chapter’s previous achievements.
The Chapter, under the leadership of advisors, Mrs. Lindsay DeLucca, Mr. Michael Ambury and Ms. Catherine Tortoso, prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management.
