Man Steals Several Hundred Dollars From Bethpage 7-Eleven: Police

The suspect, who is on the loose, displayed a knife at the clerk before stealing cash from the register, according to police.

BETHPAGE, NY — A man robbed a 7-Eleven store in Bethpage during overnight hours on Thursday. According to Nassau police, the man walked into the store on Hempstead Turnpike and grabbed several items.

Once the clerk opened the cash register, the man walked behind the counter and displayed a large knife, police said.

The victim, in fear for his life, retreated to a back room where he locked the door, authorities said.

The man stole several hundred dollars from the cash register before fleeing on foot. There were no injuries reported.
