Masked Man Robs Nassau 7-Eleven, Slashes Employee With Knife
BREAKING: It happened early Sunday morning, police say; employee taken to hospital.
OLD BETHPAGE, NY – A masked man robbed a Nassau County 7-Eleven at knifepoint early Sunday and then slashed an employee on his neck and arms, police said.
It happened around 2:20 a.m. at the 7-Eleven located at 758 Old Bethpage Road in Old Bethpage.
The robber displayed a knife and demanded money, police said. After the 25-year-old male employee complied, the robber slashed him with the knife.

The employee was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The robber fled on foot northbound on Old Bethpage Road. He was wearing a mask, gloves and a gray hooded sweatshirt.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding this crime to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
