Masked Men Rob Westbury 7-Eleven at Gunpoint

The robbery occurred Sunday evening, police said.

A Westbury convenience store was robbed at gunpoint by two masked men on Sunday evening, police said.

According to authorities, the two men entered 7-Eleven, located at 635 Powells Lane, and demanded money from the store clerk while displaying a handgun at 6:37 p.m.

The two men fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and were last seen heading south on Powells Lane.

No injuries were reported.

The clerk described the robbers as in their 20s and around 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10. One robber was reportedly wearing colored jeans, a dark colored hooded jacket, a dark ski mask, gloves and was armed with a silver handgun. Police said the other robber was wearing dark colored sneakers with a white border around to the sole, a ski mask and light colored gardening gloves.
