Met Tickets Are Incentive For Weekend Blood Drive In Plainview

It takes place Saturday afternoon at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library.

PLAINVIEW, NY — A blood drive is taking place this weekend at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library.

Each donor on Saturday afternoon will get more than a cookie. For giving the gift of life, each donor will receive a pair of New York Mets tickets.

The event is hosted by Nassau Legislator Arnold Drucke and the New York Blood Center.

While appointments are preferred, they are not required. You can walk in without registering if space and time permit.

It takes place from 12:30-4:30 p.m.

Prior to donating blood, make sure to eat and drink and bring a donor ID card.

The library is located at 999 Old Country Road.
