Mets Great Mookie Wilson To Teach Youth Clinic In Plainview
The Town of Oyster Bay hosts the event on July 30 at Borella Field.

PLAINVIEW, NY — Mets great Mookie Wilson will share his baseball wisdom in Plainview this summer.
The Town of Oyster Bay's youth baseball clinic is for children in kindergarten through the 5th grade.
Boys and girls will learn from Wilson, the 1986 World Series Game 6 hero. Not only will he give baseball tips, but the youngsters will also play ball with Wilson.

"Mookie Wilson has made baseball history time and time again. We are honored that he chose the Town of Oyster Bay to share his experience, skills, and knowledge with the next generation of baseball champions," Supervisor Joseph Saladino said.
The clinic will take place on July 30 at Borella Field in Plainview.

During the three-hour event, each child will get a photo taken with Wilson, plus receive a t-shirt and an autographed picture.
The town says space is limited and it's $100 per child.
