Motorcyclist Killed In Crash With Van: Police
The victim was struck on South Oyster Bay Road on Tuesday morning, police said.
PLAINVIEW, NY — A motorcyclist was killed on Tuesday when he collided with the van in Plainview, police said.
The accident happened just after 7:30 a.m. on South Oyster Bay Road. The 33-year-old victim was struck by a Chevrolet van, causing severe head and chest injuries. He was pronounced dead a short time later at a local hospital, police said.
The van driver was not injured and remained at the scene.
