Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of June 8 to June 15 and from June 15 to June 21.

Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Plainview area over the past week as reported by police:

  • June 7: A woman reported that someone entered her car and stole her sunglasses on Atlantic Avenue in Massapequa Park.
  • June 7: A man reported that someone stole his unattended keys from XSport Fitness at the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa.
  • June 7: A man reported that someone damaged his car on Nelson Street in Farmingdale.
  • June 10: Robert Delaney, 70, of Amityville was arrested in White Castle on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa.
  • June 12: A man reported that someone damaged the passenger side mirror of his car while parked on 3rd Avenue and Front Street in Massapequa Park.
  • June 13: Marcella Aponte, 32, of South Farmingdale was arrested for shoplifting from Macy's in the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa.
  • June 14: A man reported that someone spray painted the passenger side of his car on Gwynne Lane in Farmingdale.
  • June 15: A man reported that someone stole his unattended keys from the counter at Avis Lube on Fulton Street in Farmingdale.
  • June 15: A woman reported that someone stole her bicycle from the Plainview Old Bethpage Library on Old Country Road in Plainview.
  • June 16: A person reported that someone stole a backpack with contents from the backsteps of a home on Spruce Avenue in Bethpage.
  • June 16: A man reported that someone damaged his front bay window with a BB or pellet gun on Farm Ranch Road South in Bethpage.
  • June 18: A woman reported that someone entered her car by shattering the passenger window and stole her Michael Kors bag at The Nutty Irishman Bar on Main Street in Farmingdale.
  • June 19: A man reported that someone entered his car and stole his cell phone on Clark Street in Plainview.
