Nassau Police Report: Week of November 24

Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of Nov. 24 to Dec. 1.

Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Plainview area over the past week as reported by police:

  • Nov. 23: A man reported that someone entered his car and stole his Michael Kors watch, wallet with contents and gym ID on N. Boston Avenue in North Massapequa.
  • Nov. 23: A man reported that someone entered his car and stole his sunglassed on N. Boston Avenue in North Massapequa.
  • Nov. 25: It was reported that someone tackled and popped a blowup snowman Christmas decoration on Rita Place in South Farmingdale.
  • Nov. 26: Joseph Policaro, 42, of Bellmore was arrested for shoplifting from Home Depot on Jericho Turnpike in Syosset.
  • Nov. 26: Devasree Pavitra Penumurthy, 22, of Bethpage was arrested for shoplifting from Target at the Broadway Mall in Hicksville.
  • Nov. 29: A woman reported that someone stole the license plate off her car on Fox Place in Hicksville.
  • Nov. 29: A woman reported that someone smashed the passenger side window of her car while it was parked at The Plaza 400 Office Building on S. Oyster Bay Road in Hicksville.
