Pedestrian in Serious Condition After Being Struck by Car in Bethpage

BETHPAGE, NY - A pedestrian is in serious condition after he was struck by a car while crossing the street in Bethpage on Tuesday night, according to Nassau Police.

The 34-year-old man was crossing South Broadway (east to west) at South Oyster Bay Road, when he was struck by a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro traveling northbound on South Broadway at about 6:55 p.m., police said.

Th driver, also a 34-year-old man, remained at the scene.

The pedestrian was transported to a located hospital and is listed in serious condition, police said.

There is no criminality.
