Nassau Home Under Construction Catches Fire; Deemed Suspicious

PLAINVIEW, NY — A Plainview home under construction caught fire Tuesday night and officials are calling the blaze suspicious.

Flames broke out in the rear of the Blanche Street home around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, officials said. The home sustained damage to the exterior and smoke was seen throughout the two-story home.

Firefighters from Plainview, Syosset, Hicksville, Bethpage and Jericho fire departments rushed to the home and extinguished the blaze.
