Plainview Hospital Receives Joint Commission Certification for Its Diabetes Care

The hospital was recognized with the gold seal of approval.

Plainview Hospital recently received The Joint Commission Certification for its advanced inpatient diabetes program and the prestigious “gold seal of approval.”

This certification by The Joint Commission means that Plainview Hospital’s advanced inpatient diabetes program complies with the highest national standards for safety and quality of care. This certification demonstrates a commitment to excellence in providing services for the advanced inpatient diabetes program.

“We are very proud of our team and the hospital staff’s hard work to achieve this certification,” said Patricia Weil, ANP-BC, diabetes disease manager at Plainview and Syosset hospitals.
