Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle Schools Rank Among Best In NY

Both middle schools in the Plainview-Old Bethpage School District made Niche.com's 2018 list of the top 100 schools in New York.

Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School ranked in at No. 23 while H.B. Mattlin Middle School came in at No. 33.

Both were among a total of 29 Long Island schools to make the list.

Great Neck South Middle School took the No. 1 spot.

The rankings and review website sorted the 19,710 middle schools nationwide based on key student statistics and 4.6 million opinions from 280,000 students and parents.

A high ranking, according to Niche, indicates that a school “is an exceptional academic institution with a diverse set of high-achieving students and faculty, and the students are very happy with their experiences.”
