Plainview-Old Bethpage Students Take 2nd Place in Business Challenge

Plainview-Old Bethpage (POB) John F. Kennedy High School recently placed second in the POB Challenge, a business competition hosted at JFK High School featuring 24 teams from seven high schools from throughout Long Island.

Each team developed and presented a full business plan based on a given situation to local business professionals. Students also participated in a variety of interactive activities to practice team work, communication, public speaking and presentation skills as they prepare for the professional world. Along with the team award, seniors Tyler Fenton, Sydney Mastorides, and Maddie Rothman won second place individually for their crafted business plan and presentation.
