Plainview Scout Earns Eagle Scout Rank
The newly appointed Eagle Scout completed a community project to attain this status.

A member of Plainview-Old Bethpage Boy Scouts Troop #423 was recently honored for achieving the highest rank in Boy Scouts.
Ryan Jake Lessman, of Plainview, became an Eagle Scout after he built a memorial garden for Commander Joseph P. Flattery at the American Legion Post 812 in Plainview for his Eagle Scout project.
The location of Ryan’s Eagle Scout project was where he first started his scouting career as a Cub Scout.
