Plainview Woman Struck by Van in NYC Has Died

A semiretired real estate agent from Plainview died Saturday after she was struck by a Mercedes-Benz van on the Upper East Side of Manhattan last week, Newsday reported.

Diana Kamenetz, 66, was struck by a van traveling northbound on Third Avenue at 61st Street at 2:13 p.m. on Monday, June 15, the publication reports.

Newsday says the driver stayed at the scene of the accident and was not charged.
