Police Seek Hit-and-Run Driver Who Injured Pedestrian in Hicksville

Police are looking to identify the driver of a pickup truck that hit a 60-year-old man and drove away in Hicksville on Thursday night.

According to police, a dark, late model pickup truck entered the parking lot, located at 370 Old Country Road, and hit a man walking through the lot at 11:15 p.m.

The truck then struck a parked vehicle before driving away eastbound on Old Country Road, police said.

The man struck by the truck was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a head injury.

Police said the truck possibly has damage to the rear quarter panel and rear end.
