Promotion For Northwell Nurse; Overseeing Three Hospitals In System

PLAINVIEW, NY — A longtime member of Northwell Health has been promoted.

Kerri Anne Scanlon, a registered nurse, was named executive director of Plainview and Syosset hospitals.

She succeeds Michael Fener, who transitioning into a new role as a senior vice president of Northwell's strategic operational finance.

Scanlon, who is also the executive director of Glen Cove Hospital, has been part of Northwell for three decades.

"Kerri is an innovative thinker with exceptional leadership skills who knows how to
elevate her teams," said Michael Dowling, President and CEO of Northwell Health. "She has
proven her ability to manage situations that are constantly changing in the healthcare industry, while raising the level of care at the sites she oversees at Northwell."

Prior to her time at Glen Cove, Scanlon held a dual role as deputy chief nurse executive for the health system and associate executive director of patient care services and chief nursing officer at North Shore University Hospital.
