Selling $1,000 In lllegal Fireworks Out Of Old Bethpage Garage: Police
Isaiah Carvalho is charged with selling the fireworks, while another man is accused of illegally selling marijuana, police said.

OLD BETHPAGE, NY — Two men were arrested Wednesday afternoon in Old Bethpage for illegally selling marijuana and fireworks.
Matthew Cano, 29, of Copiague, exited his vehicle and entered a Jeep Wrangler to sell what is believed to be a half-ounce of marijuana, Tetrahydrocannabinol gummies and a Fusion Psilocybin chocolate bar, police said.
The person also accepted payment for the sale of illegal fireworks. He instructed the person to drive the Jeep to Pickwick Drive in Old Bethpage.

At the rear gate, they were met by Isaiah Carvalho, 62, of Old Bethpage. He guided them to his attached garage where a large amount of fireworks were being stored, authorities said.
Carvalho agreed to sell $1,000 worth of fireworks. He was charged with unlawfully selling fireworks with a value of $500 or more.

Cano was charged with second-degree and fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
They are expected to be arraigned on Thursday.
