Spelling G-O-O-D L-U-C-K to POBMS Student

Middle School students at Plainview-Old Bethpage School District recently competed in a school-wide Spelling Bee. Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School (POBMS) fifth through eighth grade students competed against each other, spelling words that ranged in complexity. After multiple rounds Emma Kimmel, a sixth grade student, was declared the first place winner. She will go on to compete in the Long Island Spelling Bee hosted by Hofstra University in March.
