Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District American Sign Language Honor Society students sign National Anthem at the Barclays Center

Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District American Sign Language (ASL) Honor Society students recently performed both the American and Canadian national anthems in sign language on the ice prior to the start of a New York Islanders game against the Ottawa Senators at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District offers American Sign Language as a language option for students. Students who excel in this program have the opportunity to join the American Sign Language Honor Society to further their educational experience.
