A Technology Fair Geared for Senior Citizens
Attendees will learn about incorporating technology in their daily lives.

Senior citizens in the Town of Oyster Bay wanting to learn how to incorporate technology in their daily lives will have their chance on Monday, Sept. 15,
That’s when the town, along with the EAC Network, a Hempstead-based nonprofit that offers community programs and services, are hosting a technology fair geared for seniors. The event runs from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the William P. Bennett Hicksville Community Center, 28 W. Carl Street in Hicksville, off 107 (Broadway) and Old Country Road.

“Demonstrations by SeniorNet volunteers on the iPad, Digital Photography, Skype, Smart Phones and Computer Security will be offered twice during the event,” Councilman Joe Muscarella said, in a statement.
“ The Technology Fair is an excellent opportunity for our senior residents to learn a great new skill and experience that marvels of modern day technology,” he added.

The event will also feature free refreshments and giveaways.
