Teen Charged With Making False Reports to Cops: Police
The 15-year-old told police his father was shot and his mother was tied up at a Plainview home.

PLAINVIEW, NY - A Queens teen was arrested on Thursday for falsely reporting to police that his father was shot and his mother was tied up at a Plainview home back in February, according to Nassau Police.
On February 5 at 2 a.m. the 15-year-old made the call to police claiming the incident occurred at a Sunnyside Boulevard home.
Police have received several false calls over the last few years from that home, requiring emergency police responses, and it was found to be ‘swatting’ events, police said.
