Town Of Oyster Bay To Send Toys, Clothing To Israel

The collection drive was started by a pair of Plainview couples and a family from Westbury.

PLAINVIEW, NY — The Town of Oyster Bay held a toy drive to benefit families in Israel impacted by the war with Hamas.

Jason and Raquel Rabinowitz and Roy and Leehee Baruch of Plainview, along with Daniel and Elana Gofman of Woodbury helped organize the drive.

Clothing, candy and dozens of toys will get shipped to Israel in the coming days, Supervisor Joseph Saladino said.

This fundraising event comes as the war recently crossed the 100-day threshold.
