Traffic Near Mattlin Middle School Friday And Saturday, District Sends Alert
The middle school is hosting Nassau County All-County Music Festival rehearsals for students on Friday and Saturday.
PLAINVIEW, NY — The Plainview-Old Bethpage School District shared on their Facebook that there will be heavy traffic conditions around H.B. Mattlin Middle School on Friday and Saturday.
The District said they were proud to host more than 500 Nassau County student musicians for rehearsals for the Nassau County All-County Music Festival.
In the post, they shared that the traffic conditions were challenging on Wednesday and that they are expected to be so again. They said they have coordinated with the Nassau County Police Department to assist with the traffic flow during the following times:

Friday, Jan. 16, from 3:30 until 8 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 17, from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

They said that traffic will most likely be heaviest at the beginning and end of each rehearsal session.
