• Woman Killed in Plattsburgh E-Bike Crash (wnbz.com) — An electric bicycle rider was killed Thursday night after colliding with a vehicle at Margaret Street and Cumberland Avenue in Plattsburgh, with police still investigating the cause. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating. The roundup also notes a new Keeseville Revolutionary War marker, a Plattsburgh welding program graduation, and regional law enforcement updates.
   

• CV-TEC Celebrates Grand Opening of New Career and Technical Education Center (perugazette.com) — A new CV-TEC Career and Technical Education Center in Plattsburgh is now open, giving more than 900 Clinton County students expanded hands-on training in high-demand fields. Backed by major state grants and regional school district collaboration, the facility includes a commissary kitchen that will strengthen farm-to-school food connections and support local families for years to come.
   

• Volunteer Fire and EMS leaders urge Governor Hochul to sign bi-partisan legislation (perugazette.com) — Volunteer firefighters and EMS workers from Clinton County, including those in the Town of Plattsburgh, are urging Governor Hochul to sign a bill that would quadruple their state income tax credit. The measure would also let eligible volunteers keep local property tax exemptions, potentially boosting recruitment and retention for departments that protect your neighborhood.
