Port Chester officers were first on scene, securing the area, aiding the injured, and coordinating with MTA, Rye, and Rye Brook police. Village leaders praised the department's quick, professional response while emphasizing that the ongoing investigation remains with MTA Police.
• The String Cheese Incident Releases New Single 'Fête-Tama' (gratefulweb.com) — Port Chester music fans can look forward to two special Halloween shows at The Capitol Theatre when The String Cheese Incident's fall tour rolls through town. The Colorado jam band just released a new single and is lining up multi-night runs and collaborations nationwide, with tickets and full details available on their website.
• Shake Shack, 7th Street Burger, announce Westchester opening dates (ithacajournal.com) — Westchester's burger scene is heating up, and Port Chester is part of the story thanks to Fat Stu's earlier location there and the chain's continued growth nearby. New Shake Shack and 7th Street Burger spots are opening this month, plus a larger Fat Stu's in Mamaroneck, giving Port Chester residents even more close-by options for burgers, fries, and shakes.
