Guns - Some Stolen - and Drugs Seized from Port Chester Home

The Drug Enforcement Administration and the Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation Division are helping Port Chester Police.

Port Chester Police last week raided a basement apartment on Liecester Street and seized several guns and narcotics, according to Police Chief Richard Conway.

Some of the weapons reportedly had been stolen, and in addition to the guns, police also found illegal drugs. Arrested was Village resident Francis Pena, 32.

On Thursday August 21, 2014, at approximately 7:09 pm, members of the Port Chester Police Department and the Westchester County Police Department Narcotics Unit, executed a search warrant on a basement apartment at 100 Liecester Street in the Village.

The warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation involving the Port Chester Police Department, the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office, and the Westchester County Police. While executing the warrant, officers discovered: 15 handguns, (7 were determined to be stolen) approximately ½ kilo of cocaine, 1.9 grams of heroin, and 2 pounds of marijuana.

The resident of the apartment Francis Pena, age 32, was arrested and turned over to Federal Authorities at the scene. The Drug Enforcement Administration and the Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation Division are assisting local authorities in the ongoing investigation.
