Port Chester Housing Authority Owes $260K In Taxes
The agency will pay off its debt over the next 60 years.

PORT CHESTER, NY — Owing more than $260,000 in village taxes, the Port Chester Housing Authority has agreed to pay the money — in installments — over the next 60 years. Village trustees accepted a plan that requires the agency to make a one-time payment of $20,575 followed by monthly payments of $338.
The authority receives an operating budget from the federal Housing and Urban Development and run 340 apartment units, lohud.com said.
Sewer rent taxes are also in arrears, lohud.com said.
