The Glass House Historic Museum and Cultural Site

The Glass House is a renowned historical museum and architectural modernist landmark located in New Canaan, Connecticut. As a site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the 49-acre site offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore the iconic residence and grounds designed by architect Philip Johnson. All tours originate from the Visitor Center and Design Store at 199 Elm Street, serving as the gateway to this significant cultural destination. The site provides a variety of experiences, including guided, self-guided, private, and group tours that showcase the Glass House, Brick House, Painting and Sculpture Galleries, follies, outdoor sculptures, and the surrounding 49-acre landscape. Visitors can choose from diverse options ranging from concise one-hour tours to comprehensive, in-depth explorations of the campus. The museum also features a digital guide through Bloomberg Connects to enhance the educational experience for all guests. Advance reservations are required. Hortulus of Greenwich will host its 53rd annual flower show, "An American Tapestry" on Tuesday, September 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church parish hall in Greenwich. The show is free and open to the public.
Award-winning members of Hortulus will present a cornucopia of entries showcasing their talents in floral design, horticulture, flower specimens, vegetable baskets, botanical arts, needlework and photography.
Many participating Hortulus members have received awards at major flower shows and competitions. The annual event offers visitors an opportunity to enjoy an impressive range of creative and horticultural work produced by members of one of Greenwich’s longstanding garden clubs.

"Goubma Johnny" Sialiano&nbsp;is a former New York Jets and New York Giants football player turned comedian, actor and radio host. Goumba Johnny has appeared on various television shows such as The Weakest Link, The Montel Williams Show, Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, The Joy Behar Show, The CBS Early Show, The Ricki Lake show, The Queen Latifah Show, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Deadly Sins, Person of Interest, Guiding Light, As The World Turns and in a Super Bowl commercial for NFL Network.
Michael Brigante&nbsp;has been entertaining audiences for more than a decade with his side-splitting comedy and unique brand of storytelling. Having performed to sold-out audiences in comedy clubs and theaters throughout the United States- this Caribbean born, New York City-bred, performer is unapologetic in his approach to humor as he explores topics such as parenting, weight loss and growing up in the city that never sleeps. Energetic, loud and always funny, the crowd is guaranteed to be taken for a ride they’ll remember.

Liz Barrett&nbsp;has appeared on AXS TV Gotham Comedy Live, Laughs on FOX, Lifetime, Funny or Die and New York Post Videos. You can also hear her on Raw Dog Comedy on SiriusXM. She’s a regular at Carolines, Gotham Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, Catch a Rising Star and The Brokerage. She was a finalist at Laughing Skull Comedy Festival and The She-Devil Comedy Festival and a semi-finalist at Boston Comedy Festival. She has appeared at numerous comedy festivals including, Limestone Comedy Festival, Women in Comedy Festival, Red Clay Comedy Festival, Rogue Island Comedy Festival, and Ladies of Laughter. For 5 years, Liz produced her own monthly show&nbsp;Grin and Barrett&nbsp;which was described as “puntastically named” and “one of the best shows in the city produced by a female comedian.”
John Campanelli&nbsp;is a New York based comedian who can be found regularly in both New York and Los Angeles.
