Port Chester School Remains Closed Tuesday
Panels similar to the one that fell must be inspected before the building can reopen.

PORT CHESTER, NY — The decision whether to reopen Port Chester Middle School will be made on a day to day basis. District officials said the school remains closed Tuesday as safety inspections are made because a concrete panel fell damaging windows.
About 90 panels that are similar to the one that fell must be inspected, lohud.com said.
Emergency repairs could cost $400,000.
