Port Chester Schools Program Aims to Keep English Skills Up During the Summer

PORT CHESTER, NY — Almost 500 Port Chester-Rye elementary students are taking advantage of a summer program to help them continue learning English as a second language.

The free 19-day English Language Learner Academy is being held at all four elementary schools to make certain students sustain the skills they learned in the previous school year, the Journal News said.
