Port Chester Won't Apply For Grant To Pay For Additional Cops
A stipulation that would be additional demands on the police was the issue.

PORT CHESTER, NY — Port Chester will not apply for a federal grant that would have paid three year’s worth of salaries and benefits for three new full-time police officers. The grant is being offered by the U.S. Justice Department’s Community Oriented Policing Services division.
