Settlement Reached Between Port Chester Eatery, NY AG
Workers will receive thousands in unpaid wages.

Elisa’s Food & Plus in Port Chester will pay six employees a total of $47,000 in unpaid wages under a settlement deal reached between the restaurant’s owner, Elisa Parto, and New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.
The Journal News reports that between 2010 and 2014, the restaurant often had staff work more than 70 hours per week without overtime.
Parto must make an $11,000 payment at her sentencing in March, and then pay $1,000 per month for three years under terms of the settlement.
