Valhalla Woman Arrested in Port Chester After 1-Car Crash
Police said the 23-year-old was intoxicated.

PORT CHESTER, NY — A Valhalla woman was arrested Tuesday after losing control of her car and crashing into the center median on I-287.
State police said they responded to a one-vehicle accident around 10:09 p.m. between exits 11 and 12 in Port Chester.
Jennifer L. Puchir, 23, the driver of the Nissan Altima, was found to be intoxicated, police said.

She was taken to the Tarrytown barracks for processing, where her blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.18 percent.
Puchir was charged with misdemeanor aggravated driving while intoxicated.

She was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets.
Her next court appearance is scheduled for August 8, 2016.
