Village Of Port Chester: DPW Pick Up Schedule For The Week Of August 23rd

Dear Residents & Business Owners,   In light of Tropical Storm Henri’s change in trajectory and path, the Village’s Department of Public Works has amended its refuse and recycling pickup schedule, again, and will pick up garbage, recycling, and bulk/ green waste items as scheduled beginning tomorrow, Tuesday August 24th.   This means the following:  

• Tuesday August 24th: All regularly scheduled garbage & recycling items will be picked up accordingly. Please put your items, bins, and containers on the curb after 4:00 PM today (Monday) so that we can perform our regular Tuesday morning pick up detail.

• Wednesday August 25th: All regularly scheduled bulk & green waste items will be picked up accordingly. Please put your items, bins, and containers on the curb after 4:00 PM tomorrow (Tuesday) so that we can perform our scheduled morning pick up detail.

  We thank you for your attention, cooperation, and patience as we had made proactive adjustments to the village schedules in light of what could have been a severe and damaging hurricane for our village.  As you may have already noticed, we are performing garbage and recycling collection detail this morning that includes backyard service; whatever items that may have been missed or left uncollected today will be collected on Thursday August 26th.

• Martes 24 de agosto: Todos los artículos de basura y reciclaje programados regularmente se recogerán en consecuencia. Por favor, coloque sus artículos, contenedores y contenedores en la acera después de las 4:00 p.m. de hoy (lunes) para que podamos realizar nuestro detalle habitual de recogida de los martes por la mañana.

• Miércoles 25 de agosto: Todos los artículos de desperdicio verde y a granel programados regularmente se recogerán en consecuencia. Por favor, coloque sus artículos, contenedores y contenedores en la acera después de las 4:00 p.m. de mañana (martes) para que podamos realizar nuestro detalle programado de recogida matutina.

 Le agradecemos su atención, cooperación y paciencia ya que hicimos ajustes proactivos a los horarios de la aldea a la luz de lo que podría haber sido un huracán severo y dañino para nuestra aldea. Como ya habrás notado, esta mañana estamos realizando un detalle de recolección de basura y reciclaje que incluye el servicio de patio trasero; Cualquier artículo que se haya perdido o que se haya dejado sin recoger hoy se recogerá el jueves 26 de agosto.
