10-Month-Old Girl Hurt When Drunk Mother Crashes SUV: Police
A 33-year-old Long Island woman faces felony charges after the crash late Thursday night.

CORAM, NY – A 33-year-old woman was drunk when she crashed her SUV, with her 10-month-old daughter inside, in Suffolk County late Thursday night, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, Ludivia Jimenez was driving a 2004 Ford Explorer south on Route 112 in Coram around midnight when she lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and struck a parked pickup truck, which then crashed crash into a parked Lexus.
The Explorer then struck a tree and overturned about a half-mile north of Middle Country Road.

Jimenez, of Central Islip, and her daughter were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital by a Coram Fire Department ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.
Jimenez is charged with first degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, aggravated DWI with a child passenger 15 years old or younger and endangering the welfare of a child. She is scheduled to be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Central Islip.
