3 Attorneys?

On May 16, 2016 the Mayor, Trustees and Village Attorney approved a $525,000. Bond to purchase a house and property at 303 Barnum Avenue Port Jefferson Village, only to remove it and build a parking lot. As of today only the demo has been done. The Mayor announced today in her address on the Village website that the parking lot would not be completed until 2019. This is 27 months since the Bond was approved and no lot. The taxpayers have been paying the Bond off for 27 months and assuming there was reason to spend this exorbitant amount of money, the benefits have been undelivered for the 27 months and going on 3 years. I say again, there were 3 Village attorneys doin the deal, Mayor Garant, Trustee LaPointe and the Village Attorney Brian Egan. The taxpayers are certainly owed an explanation for this mess.
