The Mayor and Board approved a 10 year Bond for $525,000. to purchase, demolish and build a parking lot alongside TriTecs' housing monstrosity on Barnum Avenue. A year later only an eyesore exists, common to that area of the Village, Gudziks old site remains, the old motel site situated upon the Lawrence Aviation plume. I suppose the parking lot will be completed in time for the completed rentals of the TriTec debacle, to insure parking for their tenants. Why else would the Village heros, Mayor and Board purchase with our, residents, money. a piece of land directly abutting TriTecs private bridge. Just what were the financials and purpose of the administration associated with this purchase and associated costs, more than half a million dollars and the loss of the residential tax revenue for ever.
