Our learned Mayor and Board is hiring the son in law of the Deputy Mayor, Lawrence LaPoint, to review and explain a Johnson Controls proposal given the Board for $1400. The amazing thing is the fact the Village never put the subject, Johnson Controls is proposing out for Bid. Now Brian McCaffery, also the husband of Alison LaPointe, Planning Board employee, gets the job of reviewing the proposal. If this is not blatant nepotism what is.
