Alternate Routes Advised During Port Jefferson Dickens Festival

The festival will run over the weekend, and some roads will be closed.

PORT JEFFERSON, NY — Suffolk policea are advising motorists of road closures in Port Jefferson over the weekend due to the annual Port Jefferson Dickens Festival.

South Street will be closed between Main Street and East Broadway on Saturday from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Then on Sunday, Main Street will be closed from Maple Place to Broadway, and Broadway will be closed from East Main Street to Barnum Avenue from 4 to 8 p.m.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes to avoid the closures, police said.
