Barnum Parking lot

So there we have it not only will the taxpayers pay for the $525,000. Bond that we were led to believe was the total cost of the Barnum Ave parking lot, but now the mayor and Board approved additional blacktop work for $3500.What else, a chain, parking stripes, come on lay it on us. The fact that it will be a resident only lot at the far end of the main Village, gives the apartment dwellers first dibs on the spots for there second vehicle. They say the lot will be closed at midnight but who will close it and who will ticket or tow the residents who ignore the law. Incredible waste of taxpayer money, for a postage stamp piece of property. Shame on you.
