Be carefull and attentive

Don't let the Village Administration make financial decisions for you.

I caution you that in my opinion the Port Jefferson Village administration will now, since the School Board Bond vote has been defeated, attempt to add to the taxpayer debt in one fashion or another. I believe that the Village administration, as in the past has projects to boost their egos and provide services to the businesses and toursists with little or no value to the majority of residents. Examples such as Bakers Alley, Town of Brookhaven parking space lease, Barnum Ave major purchase for parking lot next door to the Shipyard project, sidewalk and lights, on Highland Blvd, the road to the blight. Hopefully the School board has the revised Bond Package ready to roll out before the Mayor and Trustees spend the money without a vote from the people. There have been no referendums during Garants rule, but there could have been, they just do as they wish; major example, the Village Master Plan. Spend your money in the right place don't let the administration spend it for you.
