Lifestage is a Smithtown-based company that offers improvisation classes that focus on expanding creativity, finding the fun and learning the thinking and relationship skills that make improv a magical experience for players and an audience, and storytelling coaching to help anyone discover, develop and deliver a true story for personal or professional sharing. We offer in-person classes at The Performing Arts Studio, 224 E. Main St., Port Jefferson, and online classes as well.
Lifestage also produces a game-wrapped-in-a-storytelling show called (mostly) TRUE THINGS, which features true stories - with a twist, which has great stories, audience engagement (for anyone who wants to question the storytellers after the true stories to try to figure out who may have included some subtle little lies), lots of heart, comedy and the kind of connection that storytelling provides.
