Second Annual Light the Night for Logan Vogel

Please join us for the Second Annual Light the Night for Logan Vogel, a candlelight gathering honoring and remembering Logan on the second anniversary of his passing.

Logan was just 20 years old when his life was tragically cut short in a motorcycle crash on August 21, 2024, at Route 25A and Oakland Avenue in Miller Place.

Logan was a mechanic with a lifelong love of motors and motorcycles. He had just gotten engaged and had so many plans, dreams, and an entire future ahead of him.

On Friday, August 21, 2026, at 9:00 PM, family, friends, members of the motorcycle community, and members of the public will gather at the intersection where Logan lost his life.

We will light candles, share memories, speak Logan’s name, and come together to make sure his life and his story are never forgotten.

Everyone is welcome. You do not need to have known Logan personally to attend. Whether you knew and loved him, are part of the motorcycle community, want to support our family and Logan’s friends, or simply want to stand with us in remembrance, we welcome you.

This gathering is also a reminder about motorcycle awareness and the importance of safer roads.

Look twice. Slow down. Pay attention.
See the motorcycle. See the person riding it.

As Logan’s mother, I will continue to say his name, tell his story, seek answers, advocate for safer roads, and fight for the justice and accountability I believe my son deserves.

WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN.
