Comsewogue Faces Off Against the Harlem Wizards in Exciting Basketball Game

Hundreds of students, staff, families, and community members from the Comsewogue School District gathered at Comsewogue High School for an evening of excitement and school spirit during a Harlem Wizards fundraiser hosted by the Terryville Road Elementary School PTA.

In a fun twist on the traditional matchup, the nationally renowned basketball team the Harlem Wizards faced off against a team made up of dedicated Comsewogue School District staff, who showcased their skills while entertaining the crowd. Adding to the excitement, local elected officials joined in on the action, playing alongside Comsewogue staff in the high-energy, crowd-pleasing game.

Known for their unique blend of basketball talent, humor, and interactive entertainment, the Harlem Wizards partnered with Comsewogue to create an unforgettable experience that extended beyond the court. The event successfully brought together education, community leadership, and family-friendly fun, highlighting the power of teamwork, school pride, and community connection.

The evening also featured a spirited student cheer squad, who proudly performed for their teachers and energized the crowd as they cheered on the Comsewogue team against the Wizards. Students were further thrilled to receive special golden basketballs, which they had the opportunity to get autographed by members of the Harlem Wizards.
