Comsewogue High School student Lexia Lindsay has been honored with dual recognition for her exceptional talent. Not only was Lexia selected for Long Island’s Best: Young Artists at the Heckscher Museum 2025—one of the region’s most prestigious juried high school exhibitions—she was also been chosen as a standout student. Her work will be showcased at The Firefly Artists Gallery in Northport.

“I cannot begin to explain how impressive this is for one of our kids,” said Gina Melton, Linday’s art teacher. “Lexia’s dedication, creativity, and vision are truly inspiring.”

Lexia’s artwork will be on view at The Firefly Artists Gallery, 90 Main Street, Northport, NY, from June 1 through June 15, 2025. The Firefly Gallery, a cherished hub for local creativity since 2011, has long been committed to supporting emerging artists through exhibitions, workshops, and art education.
