District's music program earns the NAMM 2026 Best Communities for Music Education Award
For the 12th year, the Comsewogue School District was recognized for its outstanding commitment to music education by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation. The District earned NAMM’s 2026 Best Communities for Music Education Award, a distinction that honors the exceptional efforts and achievements of its music administrators, teachers and students.
“The continued recognition of Comsewogue as one of the Best Communities for Music Education is a testament to the dedication of our teachers, the passion of our students and the unwavering support of our community,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jennifer Quinn. “We believe music is an essential part of a well-rounded education, and we are proud to provide opportunities that inspire creativity, collaboration and lifelong appreciation for the arts.”
Comsewogue’s comprehensive music program provides daily instruction at the elementary, middle and high school levels, while also offering students frequent opportunities to showcase their talents. Throughout the year, students perform in concerts, recitals, school productions and special community events, enriching both their educational experience and the broader community.
