Suffolk Speedway Clerk Robbed Of Cash At Knifepoint: Cops

Detectives are seeking a man and woman in their 20s, Suffolk police said.

CORAM, NY — A clerk at Speedway in Coram was robbed of cash at knifepoint on Monday night, Suffolk police said.

A man and woman in their 20s went inside the Route 112 store at about 11 p.m., police said, adding that the man flashed a knife while the woman demanded cash from the store's clerk. The clerk gave the robbers cash and then the duo sped away in a vehicle, according to police.

Detectives from the 6th Squad are investigating.
