Difficult to do business in Port Jefferson

Stella Koutrakos Tessler a resident of Florida in a letter to the editor June 6,2019,of the Port Times Record wants to know why $28,000. of John J Lavalle's campaign contributions came from non residents and business . My opinion is that they have not, and will not do business in Port Jefferson Village because the mayor and trustees make it very difficult to do business here unless there is something in it for them, ie: ego, sense of power or what ever drives people like this. The administration is and has been caught up in a power trip which will certainly trip them up, in my opinion. These contributers want LaValle to run the Village as it should be, not with favors, delays or non transparency .
